Casual Fashion on the SUP

Here is a great picture of Kristy cruising the bay. Amazing to think that her board is only 9', yet it's so stable that she can confidently paddle around in dry clothes, hat, glasses and all. It's as if getting wet isn't even a possibility. Of course, she's pretty good at it too.

Kialoa's New Methane Paddle

I just wanted to give a shout out to Kialoa Paddles for creating such a rad SUP Paddle. I have their new Methane Paddle and it is awesome! Definitely the best paddle I have put in my hands yet. It has an oval shaped shaft that molds to your hands perfectly, the T shaped handle is super functional and has a smaller 8 inch wide blade. For all you ladies out there listen up! This is a great paddle for us! Being a woman paddler who rides a smaller SUP board (I am 5'3 and 130 pounds) I have found that the Methane takes much less energy to move through the water because of the smaller blade but still provides that quick momentum when you need it with the least amount of effort. All the elements you need in a paddle for the surf as well!

Did I mention it just feels like "butta" in your hands? When you put this paddle in your hands, you will not want to let it go. It makes paddling just that much better and if you have not had the chance to pick up a Kialoa paddle yet, do it soon! You can find your local dealer by visiting www.kialoa.com

Sanyo Xacti: Unreal Price!

This little camera is perfect for all surf and SUP expeditions. Not only is it palm sized, an 8MP still camera and a great camcorder, but it is completely waterproof out of the box--No cumbersome water housing! Just be sure to tie a piece of styrofoam or some other kind of float to the wrist strap, because if you lose it it'll sink (let me know if you step on one paddling out at SanO).

When we saw it now available for just $179.00 on Amazon, we thought you'd like to know.
