Never mind that shady rodent Punxsutawney Phil, who this weekend predicted 6 more weeks of winter.  We're going with our man (err, groundhog) Monterey Philipe here, who has happily declared that winter is over (we don't see no stinking shadow)!  So put on your party sombrero, and let the sunshine in!

Fiesta Time!

It's very difficult to perfectly reproduce the placement of the colors in your embroidery from top to top.  In fact, we think it's contrary to the creative process to insist on it!  But sometimes, you'll see a really beautiful combo of embroidery floss skeins and go wild, doing a whole bunch of items with the same color theme.

Such was the case with the vibrant orange, red, and blue combo above, which we call "Fiesta."  We think you'll agree that these grey and red Marina Mexican blouses are definitely ready for Fiesta!

XL Mexican Blouses Now in Stock!

We just wrapped up a batch of our newest style, the "Lijera Libre" Mexican peasant blouse.  "Libre" is Spanish for free, and perfectly describes the flowy and looser-fitting version of our iconic Lijera.  For our more voluptuous warm weather devotees, the Lijera Libre puts a very sexy exclamation point on any sunny summer outfit; and can be paired with a belt and worn as a tunic-length cover-up for our more petite sun worshipers.

As you know, one of the Lijera's most distinctive features is its split-sleeve detail, which we have updated for the Libre with a more robust scallop crochet trim which is joined so the sleeves remain closed -- Just like on our Primavera Mexican dress:
